Session 13 Piara Waters - Andrea and Jasmine Year 7 Maths

Today we did a very quick maths warm up of fractions, to focus the class before the animation session. This calms them and makes them more present for the class. 

Today we were working on our video. Pulling all elements from the terms together into one timeline.

PART A

Animation quiz

16 questions 

Students responded on their whiteboards and Jasmine chose a student to respond. The correct answerer of each question gets to direct an animation move for our video (Andrea to be the puppet for the animation).

You can choose from:

Rotating, re-positioning, flickering, scaling etc.

We want to cover at least all of these from the images we created previously:

We collectively decided to go with Depressing Punjabi! 

We added sand to our jar from today’s creative habits:  

Imagination - thinking about how fruit images could be manipulated

Collaboration - we pulled together all the pieces from the weeks of work made together

Inquistive - challenging what maths is useful for (animation!)
